Our February walker of the month is….

Carrie Ann!

This month we are honoring Carrie Ann as our February Walker of the Month! Carrie Ann started with LDC when it was still Royal Oak Dog Walkers in May 2019. Fast forward to today, and she is still just as dedicated and enthusiastic about the job as she was on day one.

If you’re wondering what a typical day as a dog walker looks like for Carrie Ann, you will find that she rarely has idle time and is always scheduled with back to back appointments. But even more impressive is that the majority of her dogs choose to set up a repeating series, which means that Carrie Ann is almost entirely booked for the next six months. Given what we know about her, it’s no coincidence that she has so many regulars on her schedule!

While her favorite season to walk dogs is in the fall, she is not afraid of the cold weather. Give her a pair of warm, fuzzy socks and a good podcast and she is set. Her favorite thing about working with dogs is the look on their faces when she walks in the door, which is enough to warm you right up on the coldest of days!

Carrie Ann is also a natural leader. She is always eager to help others, especially when we add new members to our team. We frequently have new walkers shadow her while they are still training. But her leadership doesn’t stop there. When she isn’t walking dogs, you can find her at the barn riding horses and training others how to ride, too.

Thank you Carrie Ann for all that you do! Your commitment to your job does not go unnoticed and we appreciate all that you do!
