What to Expect with In-Home Sitting...
We’re pleased to offer overnight dog sitting for you pups in the comfort of your own home. Dog Sitters will stay in your home for 12 hour shifts. The default arrival time is 8:00pm and default departure time is 8:00am. Upon arrival, your sitter will walk your dog(s) for 20 minutes and for another 20 minutes in the morning prior to departure. Your sitter is able to administer oral medication and will feed, refill water bowls, provide a bedtime treat, and provide you with updates all throughout their stay.
Our sitters won’t just care for you pups, but your home, too! Rest assured that both your home and your dog will be safe, secure, and cared for.
Please note: If you need additional care for your pup during the day, you may schedule walks or let outs to help bridge the time until your overnight sitter returns. Any daytime care is 50% off the normal rate when scheduled in conjunction with overnight dog sitting.
What to expect with your Sitter’s stay:
- You will receive an alert when your sitter arrives and details about your service throughout their stay.
- Please provide clean bedding and let your walker know where they are permitted to sleep. We ask that you allow our sitters to sleep on a couch or in a guest bedroom. Sitters will strip any bedding prior to departure and leave it at the foot of the bed or couch for your convenience. If you would like your sitter to place the used bedding in another location, just let your sitter know!
- Leave your sitter the WiFi Password – this will let them keep Time to Pet open during their shift to provide you with accurate GPS tracking during their stay.
- Your sitter will bring their own food and are not permitted to eat your food or drink any of your beverages (other than water). If you want to provide food to your sitter, make sure it is clearly marked so they know it isn’t off limits!
- Your sitter is required to wash any dishes prior to their departure. Please let us know where your dish soap is!
- Sitter’s will bring their own bath towels, wash cloths, and toiletries, but we ask that you permit the use of your shower during their stay. If it is okay for your sitter to use your towels or toiletries, please make sure they are clearly marked for use.
- Your sitter will bring in any mail or packages that arrive while you are away.
- Sitter’s will take out trash (if needed), return trash cans from the curb (if needed), and water flowers/plants if requested.
- You can always meet your sitter prior to their stay. Please e-mail us and we can arrange this. This is by request only.

$140/night – Monday – Sunday
$165/night – Major Holidays*
