Hi there! My name is Amanda! I’m a Residential Dog Sitter here at LDC! I am a huge animal lover with plenty of professional experience caring for pets over multiple years! I spent 4 years working at a pet hotel caring for all sorts of breeds. I’m so excited to give your pet the best vacation ever!

Dina Anthony

Dina is a stay-at-home mom with a passion for animals. She has five children and five pets (2 dogs, a cat, bird, and chinchilla). Her background is in elementary education, but throughout her career worked with the Humane Society and a boarding kennel. After exiting the workforce to care for her growing family, she continued to work with a boarding kennel and received her certification of pet CPR and First Aid.

What to Expect During Your Dog's Stay...

Dog Sitting just got a lot more fun! Your pup can now stay with one of our residential Dog Sitter’s in their home! Your Dog Sitter asks that your dog is fully potty trained, comfortable around kids and other dogs/pets, and abides by a few basic rules set by your sitter based on their home. For example, if you prefer your pup to sleep in bed with your sitter, make sure that your sitter doesn’t have a house rule against this! We want both the sitter and dog to be as comfy and as happy as can be during their stay!  

 

Each of our Residential Dog Sitter’s will bring something different to your dog’s overnight experience, so it’s best to review their sitter profiles on our Facebook Page or Instagram before booking. All of our dog sitters are required to follow feeding and medication schedules, provide a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise each day, and maintain a daily log for your records. We require our customers to coordinate a drop off and pick up time with their sitter. Please note that you are charged per 24 hours, so the pick-up and drop off time should be the same. Any additional time is charged by the hour. 

What to expect with your dog’s stay:

  • Please complete a packing list with all of the items you are sending with your dog prior to dropping your dog off with his or her sitter. We want to make sure that everything goes home with your dog when it’s time for pick up!  (Putting this info in Time to Pet is always a great idea.)
  • Your dog sitter will provide you with a daily update using Time to Pet. You will receive a picture and details of all the fun adventures your dog is having with their sitter
  • Please pack all of your dog’s food, dishes and treats. Make sure to leave clear feeding instructions for your sitter including any allergies or food sensitivities
  • If you have certain rules your dog follows in your house (not allowed on the furniture, must sit before eating, etc.), make sure your sitter knows! 
  • A minimum of 30 minutes of daily exercise and time away from their sitter not to exceed 4 hours at a time.
  • You can always meet your sitter prior to their stay. Please e-mail us and we would be happy to arrange this. 

Price: 

$115/24 hours – Monday – Sunday

$130/24 hours – Major Holidays *

$20 – Pet Transport to and from Sitter’s house **

A rate of $20/hour is applied for late pick up times

Pricing based on a one dog household. Any additional dogs that reside in the same household are an additional $15/24 hours

Tips are greatly appreciated! If you would like to tip your sitter, you can do so via your invoice on Time to Pet!

* Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July

** If you do not require your sitter to pick up and/or drop off your dog, you will not be charged for Pet Transportation. Starting rate is $10 one way, $20 round trip. Subject to change based on travel distance.

Now your dog can have a sleepover with his or her favorite walker without needing to leave the comfort of their home!

Your sitter will stay overnight with your dog(s) while providing them with the same routine and environment they are used to. Our sitters won’t just care for your pups, but your home too!
